KALE - Reputed to be the best tasting kale and is prized by chefs in Italy: I prefer pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice) though. BUT if you are chasing nutritional value you can’t beat Black Tuscan Kale. Grown as micro-greens for great flavour to complement your dishes (go gourmet) or hide it in smoothies *mwa ha ha! They’ll never know.
AMARANTH - Micro-greens which are actually not green at all. Amaranth is a translucent deep violet colour which can be cut to eaten when about 3-5cm tall. It won’t fill your hunger pains but will make the food on your plate pop. We’ve also heard that when eating ‘greens’ in micro size they hold a nutritional value five times higher!! Sold. The beet like flavour is a bonus.
